Obituary: CLAYTON---Mrs. M. Elwina Ingerson, 85, St. Lawrence Corners, died Dec. 17 in Mercy Hospital, Watertown.
A mass of the resurrection was held Dec. 19 at St. Mary's Church, with Msgr. Herbert H. Hannan, pastor, officiating. Burial was in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
Donations may be made in her name to the Clayton Volunteer Ambulance Fund or the St. Mary's Memorial Fund.
She is survived by three sons, S. Gerald and Robert A., both of Clayton, and Leo F., St. Lawrence Corners; a daughter, Mrs. Christopher (Mary Lue) Muggleton, Clayton Center; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and cousins.
A son, Richard L., died June 6, 1971. A brother, Gerald, also died before her.
Born June 17, 1899, in Clayton, daughter of Frank and Mary Louise "Minnie" Thibault Pelow, she attended local schools.
She married Stanley N. Ingerson on Dec. 2, 1922 at St. Mary's Rectory. Mr. Ingerson, a construction and building contractor in Clayton, died Aug. 25, 1975 at the age of 75.
Mrs. Ingerson was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
