Obituary:  Mrs. Esther Balcom, aged 82 years, died at her home in South Redfield on April 3, 1945, having been in poor health for some time.  She was the widow of Frank Balcom, who died in 1932.  She was a daughter of John and Eliza Duggleby of
Utica, and married Mr. Balcom in 1892.  She is survived by three sons, Wilbur, John, and Leslie, all of Redfield, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  Funeral services were held from Redfield Community Church on Friday, Rev. Chas.
Rowley officiating, burial in Redfield Cemetery.

Ella FOX

Obituary (from newspaper of 17 Jan. 1939):  Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Fox Balcom who died in Pulaski last Tuesday, following a stroke, were held from Redfield Community Church Friday with burial in Redfield Cemetery.

    She was born in Redfield, the daughter of Rolon and Elida Fox, on Aug. 30, 1866.

    Surviving are three brothers, Ira and Dennis Fox of Redfield, and Wilbur Fox of Pulaski; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Helbock of Pulaski, and Mrs. Jessie Flagg of Lacona; six sons, Orrin of Redfield, Robert, Pratt, Charles, Rolon and Vann, all
of Pulaski; two daughters, Mrs. Agnes Teachout of Pulaski, and Mrs. Ruth Taylor of Mexico, and 26 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
